I am not in the habit of asking people to donate to causes but this is different. If any of you can find it in your hearts to give a buck or two toward helping out Camp Hodia it would help kids like my son continue to attend.
Camp Hodia is founded by Don Scott whom I’ve met personally. He tirelessly works for and with kids who have been afflicted with type one diabetes. My son was able to attend camp last year free. Without the help and support of people who donate, he wouldn’t go to camp.
Last year he had so much fun while also learning to manage his own diabetic condition. That’s a hard task for a 9 year old! (I mean if I have trouble with it, he HAS to 
) It’s a great camp working toward a great goal: To help kids with a serious medical condition feel good about themselves!
